This article will explain how to manage custom map layers in Gruntify.
Custom map layers are map layers that are uploaded by the Gruntify users. They appear over the top of the base map and can be used to show organization-specific data.
Gruntify currently supports GeoJSON formatted files of up to 256MB. If your GeoJSON file is too large then zip the file before uploading.
We will shortly be releasing support for the following additional file types:
Other Zipped File Formats (Note: the map file must be in the root directory of the Zip file. It must not be in a folder within the Zip file.)
- MapInfo MIF
- MapInfo TAB
- ESRI Shapefiles
The video tutorial below will show you how to import your data to create a custom map layer.
